Toulouse

Following our driving experience of arriving in Toulouse, it was decided by all that the car would not be venturing out again to the streets of Toulouse. We caught a taxi to the "Cite le Space" museum on the outskirts of town & spent most of the day viewing space capsules, satellites & all "things space", including Rose experiencing what it was like to walk on the moon. A couple of Imax films (including a particularly good one in 3D on the International Space Station) completed an interesting day. Simon was pre-occupied most of the day - his results were due some time the next day & some nerves seemed to surface. As the weather was still very cold & drizzly, and everyone was tired, dinner was take-away pasta while viewing some of the vast selection of DVD's.
